GENERAL RULES ABOUT POSTING.
This is a companion forum to our Sugar Covered Quills site. A fan site for Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe as well as Harry Potter and various projects they both are currently doing. This board believes that everyone should be allowed to express their opinions as long as it is done in taste and not maliciously, intending to hurt those this site has been created for. We would like everyone to feel welcome and enjoy their stay here, but first you must understand the following,

Respect your fellow board members. This board was created to be a safe place for not only fans of both Emma and Daniel but also fans of the Harry Potter Universe. We have people posting in here from all walks of life, so any comments made towards a. religion, b. country, c. sex, d. government will be classed as being constructively offensive. Anyone caught breaking those rules will be automatically deleted from the board and their membership terminated completely.

The old saying goes, ‘if you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all’ applies in SCQ. No spamming up the board with one lined comments or filling spaces with emotions because that is unconstructive posting and you will be spoken to about it.
CONTENT THAT SHOULD NOT BE POSTED
Under NO circumstances are personal photographs of any cast members of Harry Potter, nor any personal images of either Emma Watson or Daniel Radcliffe to be tolerated on this board. RESPECT is something that is paramount and will not be taken liberally. This is a widely aged board and some contents would be seen as offensive hence why some threads will be found locked that contain either NC-17, or posts that are of a private nature and not suitable for young ages. To protect those who are fans of both Emma and Daniel, there is a forum that is permantely locked and therefore the advice to spammers who try to register still applies.
No advetisments to buy products or links to any sites, either personally linked or otherwise will be allowed. If it is from another fan site, then give the name to the site but NO hotlinking.
No fan fiction linking to the site, because there is just not enough room to house it all. Feel free to give the link to where it is and if a member is interested then it will be read. There are hundreds of budding fiction writers out there and just not enough bandwith to make them all happy, so be wise and just give the link.
NO double threads, please do not post the same message in various threads, it’s both tedious and boring to read the same message over and over again and only fuels annoyance from the moderators who have to maintain the sites. It will only serve to getting a PM from a Mod letting you know what you did wrong and no one wants that now do they?
Please do not makes comments about characters or situations/books to do with Harry Potter, in threads that might offend other members. There are sections dividing up the fandom, therefore anything related to your topic should be put in there. Please try and keep the board as clutter free as possible, it helps in being able to navigate through it without having to go looking for the topic you are interested in.
IMAGES
Feel free to post an image in the board but please try and keep the size down. If it is a large image then post the link to it, rather than pasting it in. Images are allowed from photo sites like Photobucket, but NO HOTLINKING from another site or board will be allowed.
If an image is from another site, or message board, then please ask the owners permission before you can post it. Do not lift either images or posts from another board without asking the owners permission first. The same with graphics made, either banners or icons, express the owners permission first before taking it.
Under NO circumstances are any nude images to posted of any kind. We do not endorse obsence images, maniped or otherwise – so please respect our wishes to keep them clean in threads that are child friendly.
PERSONAL CONDUCT
Respect the Actors’ performances. Discussions about performances in any projects that they undertake is encouraged. However, if you disagree with any element of the movie/tv role then please keep it respectful. It is not alright to flame the Actor, simply because you do not follow their performance or ability to act. There is a difference between negative comments about fictional characters, and actual human beings.
Respect the decision of the Moderators and Global Administrators. They will not edit or change posts without just cause to the reason behind it. Nor will they chase your conduct on the forum without first giving you reason why they do so. We run a tight ship here and don’t want members to think they can’t post, but at the same time we want to make sure no one becomes offended when someone posts something they are not allowed to do so.

hey izzieq, the forums have moved to a new server and its awesome. There are some minor glitch though as you have to upload again your avatar and your signature. But dont worry all your posts are still there. there were some technical difficulties before, but the site is back now and is in action once again

Izzie hunny – it is the latest version from the server and because of that, the ones who own our site and hunderds of others have made the switch. now i did mention this in announcements last week that this would be done and warned members there would be technical hitches. Signing in is just the same, the avatars and possiblly the banners need to be put back in by members if they don’t show, other than that it’s a new layout and hopefully we will all be able to get around it with as much ease as possible.

hey bodie..did you register again recently? Can you register again? you know what, that happened to me before. I kept logging in and it kicks me out. Did you try logging in using another computer? Because i did that and I was able to. It was then i realized that there was a bad virus in my computer. Can you do that? Or if all things work well, maybe can you register again?
