MTV posted two new interviews with Dan and some of the young Potter cast during the HBP DVD launch at the Deathly Hallows set. Dan talked about the cast diving into the romantic comedy theme of the sixth Potter film, saying that it was crucial for the characters to experience.

The boys (Dan, Tom and Rupert) also talked about the music they listened to, to get inspired for their roles in the film.

According to Dan, he listens to Radio Head a lot as well as Hope of the States to get through those hard scenes.

“Lots and lots of Radiohead,” the actor told MTV News while filming “Deathly Hallows,” the two-part finale of the series. “Loads of stuff. I often come back to stuff like Radiohead and Hope of the States for those harder scenes.”

Tom Felton on the other hand said that Dan likes to ham it up on the music on set.

“Daniel loves it in the makeup room,” Felton said. “He thumps it out — we’re talking 6 in the morning — some ’60s ska/punk band. It’s like, ‘All right, man!’ He loves it.”

As for him, he like his chill music.

“I’m more of an earphones guy,” he said. “I like my chilled acoustic music. Big fan of Jack Johnson.”
