The sixth film in the Harry Potter franchise, The Half-Blood Prince, has been nominated in the 14th Annual Satellite Awards. The nominations were announced last Sunday by the International Press Academy and HBP was nominated in the Animated or Mixed Media Film Category.
Potter actor Timothy Spall is also nominated in the Best Supporting Actor Category for his role in The Damned United.
The awards will be presented Dec. 20 at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.
