The London Evening Standard has listed down London’s 1,000 Most Influential People of 2009 - which they divided into different categories. From films to the arts to sports, the list includes prominent personalities from their respective fields. Listed under the film category are several Potter actors and producer such as Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, David Heyman, Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh and many more.

Here are the Potter actors included on the list:

  • Kenneth Branagh – Actor and director
Brings Shakespearean grandeur to everything he touches, and does a good job of directing himself. He was one of the best things in the overly long The Boat That Rocked and we’ll soon have his Marvel Comics adaptation Thor to sink our teeth into.
  • Daniel Radcliffe – Actor
Having gone from boy to man before our eyes, Radcliffe is now all but free of Harry and has become a dab hand at giving casual-but-smart interviews. Tried the stage in Equus, now a lot hangs on his first real grown-up movie role
  • Emma Watson – Actress
Currently mixing Harry Potter (she’s got two more films to go) with university in America. Growing in confidence, she’s been sought after for modelling by the fashion industry, showing she has pulling power beyond HP.
  • David Heyman – producer
Most film people don’t like to be associated with just one film, but I doubt Heyman minds being tagged the Harry Potter producer. And all for an initial $2 million outlay. Top of the class.
  • Helena Bonham-Carter – Actress
Burton’s kooky spouse plays Enid Blyton in this autumn’s biopic about the children’s writer for BBC. In next year’s Alice in Wonderland she’ll play the balloon-headed Red Queen, teaming up — not for the first time — with both her husband and Johnny Depp
  • Emma Thompson – Actress
Versatile and down-to-earth, the Oscar-winner can do serious or slapstick. And the roles keep flowing for her despite turning 50. “Old is very sexy,” she says. Next up is a reprise of Nanny McPhee.
