As a long time Simpsons fan, Daniel Racliffe has once said that he would like to appear or make a cameo at the show. Well, his wish is coming true.
EW is reporting that Dan is going to be lending his voice to an episode of The Simpsons. He will spoof the character of his former Potter co-star Robert Pattinson, Edward Cullen, in a Twilight spoof, which is going to be a part of next fall’s, “Treehouse of Horror XXI”. Dan will play Edmund (a spoof for Edward), a kid vampire whom Lisa falls for. Edmund’s father, a.k.a. Dracula, and Homer try to squash the budding romance.
According to exec producer Al Jean,
“Daniel was very excited to do The Simpsons,” says Jean, “and we kept trying to ask him for secrets from the upcoming Harry Potter movie until we realized that they were all in the books.”
