In celebration of their 10th year anniversary, Amazon UK has listed down the biggest selling books in its website since they have began trading. Topping the list is the sixth Potter book, The Half-Blood Prince. It was closely followed by the final Potter book, The Deathly Hallows, which came in second place. Other books included in the list are The Dangerous Book for Boys, The Time Traveler’s Wife, The Kite Runner and the Da Vinci Code. Click on the link to view the complete list.

After bravely battling with cancer, Dame Maggie Smith is back on her first love, acting. She is due to film “From Time to Time”, a children’s fantasy to be directed by Julian Fellowes. It is a film adaptation of Lucy M. Boston’s children’s book, The Children of Green Knowe.

Meanwhile, Ms. Julie Walters is set to be the latest UK artist to be immortalized in Birmingham’s Walk of Stars. The Midlans actress will follow in the footsteps of Ozzy Osbourne, Jasper Carrot Murray Walker and The Archers, who have been awarded the stars for their contribution to the arts, sports or business worlds.
Ms. Walters in accepting the award said:, “I am very honoured and happy that the people of Birmingham and the West Midlands want to include me in their Walk of Stars and I look forward to receiving my star.Birmingham and the West Midlands is where I’m from, these are my roots and, in essence, it has played a big part in making me the person I am today”
Allan Sartori, marketing director of the Broad Street Business Improvement District, said: “It is only fitting that Julie be honoured in this way as she is a true Midlander and I know the people of Birmingham are very proud of Julie’s achievements.”
Ms. Walters is set to receive her award early next year.
