The Ropes of Silicon has listed down some actors who has the potential to make it big and be Hollywood’s Next Male Movie Star. Daniel Radcliffe was listed down as one of the male heir apparent to Will Smith, who is considered as Hollywood’s Biggest Male Movie Star at the moment. Here is what they have to say about Dan:

Yeah, he’s Harry Potter and people are certainly not going to Harry Potter films for Daniel Radcliffe, but that doesn’t mean this kid can’t act. To be honest I wouldn’t have added Radcliffe if it hadn’t been for the recent reviews of his Broadway debut in “Equus” which is receiving fantastic reviews as the New York Times says “the 19-year-old film star Daniel Radcliffe steps into a mothball-preserved, off-the-rack part and wears it like a tailor’s delight — that is, a natural fit that allows room to stretch.” At the age of 19 he certainly has time to shed the Potter robes and with serious Broadway attention he is getting the praise he needs to make a leap to the next level.

Also TMF has listed Dan as one of their Top 50 Hottest Young Actors. Dan came in at #17. This is what they have to say about Dan:

Biggest roles so far: As Harry Potter in the JK Rowling’s HP Tales, as Maps in December Boys and as John Kipling in My Boy Jack.

Why he made the top 50: Earning a whopping $14 million in the latest Harry Potter series is an incredible achievement for someone as young as Daniel Radcliffe.

Ultimately it comes down to whether we’re still enjoying it. If we are then I think we would be sort of stupid not to do them. As long as I’m doing other stuff around the same time, I think it’ll be fine. Also, I sort of try to read the books when they come out impartially and not make up my mind, but the fact is when I was reading the sixth, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, there were bits in there where I was going, ‘God, I would love to do that because it’s so good.’” says Daniel about playing the role.
Perhaps the most popular among the top 50 young actors in the list, Radcliffe’s acting resume is not limited to the Potter movies anymore- with a controversial stint in theatre for Equus and an upcoming drama feature, Journey, where he will play the lead role, Radcliffe is as shrewd as he is charming.
We have also posted yesterday of Rupert making in the same list. He placed #37.
