The Movie Fanatic has updated their list of the Top 50 hottest young actors and Rupert Grint finally made it to the list for the first time. Rupert came in at #37.
Rupert is best known for his role as Ron Weasley and is currenty filming his new movie, Wild Target. He has released a film, Driving Lessons previously and has recently finished filming, Cherry Bomb. Here is what they have to say about him:
Biggest roles so far: as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series, as Ben Marshall in Driving Lessons and as Malachy in Cherry bomb.
Why he made the top 50: It’s been great to watch the three lead stars of Harry Potter mature before our eyes. While Rupert’s role is supporting lead to Dan Radcliffe, the young actor is seriously considering other roles to further his acting career. Says Rupert:
It was just so different to the Harry Potter films. It’s much lower budget, it’s a much smaller crew and there’s no blue-screen, special effects or creatures or anything like that! That was definitely one of the reasons I wanted to do it and it was just nice to be someone who’s sort-of a bit different. Being Ron – as much as I love it – for many years does get a bit repetitive. It was nice just to be someone else.

Jediyoda, the tMF is another blod exatly like this, they’re not legit – a few girls open that blog last year.

the TMF may not be as legit as some entertainment industry websites but if you look at how they gather their data for this poll as well as their range of other actors, they were able to gather industry opinions for these actors. It may not be as wide as you may want it to be but they are not also claiming their poll must be taken seriously. Like any website that conducts a poll, whether a big industry player or not, these are based on what they have gathered about the actors. They tend to focus more on indie actors rather than those in the headlines and are high paid.
