Potter actor David Thewlis (aka Prof. Lupin) attended the pre-drinks reception of his latest movie, The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas, which will have its UK premiere later. He was joined by his co-stars in the movie and other actors such as Dustin Hoffman. The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas is a story of an unconvential friendship between a young German boy and a young Jewish boy held captive in a concentration camp. Set in World War II, the story is told in the eyes of this young German boy, who is shielded from the realities of war. Click on the link above to view more pictures. Update: David Thewlis spoke briefly about Harry Potter in an interview with Movies and More – Ireland. Here is what David has to say:
Q: What do you think of the change in Harry Potter date?
I wouldn’t have thought it mattered. Harry potter is Harry potter – it’s bound to do well. And summer releases in the states are always such big affairs.
Q: Your currently shooting the last film?
Yeah we’re working on the last film, which will be split into two but I’m not really involved in it. I’m not in the last films much. It’s a week’s work here and there.
