As most Harry Potter fans should know, the new fantasy movie coming out this fall called ’Twilight’ stars one of the actors who played Cedric Diggory in ‘The Goblet of Fire’ and ‘The Order of the Phoenix’ Robert Pattinson. His character, ‘Edward Cullen’,  was penned by a very talented author called Stephenie Meyer, whose ‘Twilght saga’ has gripped the nation falling in love with vampires and teenage love.

She has suffered a very unceromonous backlash from supposed fans who see it fit to post harmfully messages on blogs and websites about her, including now having her manuscript to her next book ‘Midnight Sun’ posted on live journals to download. This has forced the author to put the book on hold as a personal sacrifice and a breach of privacy to her of the highest order.

We at Sugar Covered Quills, want to show our support to Stephenie and let her know that she has a very loyal fandom out there who will not allow her name to be trashed simply for writing a book that has a happily ever after for Bella Swan.

Supporting Stephenie Meyer.

Supporting Stephenie Meyer.

We take this step as a fanbase community of Harry Potter with the hope that this nonsense stops because it is simply doing nothing but showing just how childish some people can literally be.
