Forbes has released their annual list of richest celebrities (and highest paid actors/actresses) and it came no surprise that Harry Potter author, JK Rowling topped the list. Though she only came in 9th at the Most Powerful celebrities list, Ms. Rowling still out-earned them all, earning a whopping $300 million last year (she even beat out talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey). Her success last year came in part with the release of the last Potter book, The Deathly Hallows, which caused fan-frenzy around the world.

Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe also topped the list for the richest teen celebrity. He shared the honors with Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana, both earning $25 million each. His co-stars, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint also made the list coming in at #7 and # 9, earning $5.5 million and $5 million respectively.

If you want to view the photo, click here.) Cherry Bomb is a coming – of -age story, where two young boys vie for the attention of one girl, who is not as innocent as she appeared to be.

The film also stars James Nesbitt, Kimberly Nixon and Robert Sheehan.

Japanese Potter fans waited eagerly in lines as bookstores around Japan opened yesterday to release the final Potter book, The Deathly Hallows, in Japanese. Dressed in witches or hogwarts costumes, fans snapped up copies of the book, one year after the original version was released.

Online bookstore Amazon Japan has said that it has received about 95,000 orders for the Japanese version, the most ever for a Potter book, topping its best-seller chart. Some of the excitement though has dwindled as the readers have inevitably found out much of the plot since the English version was published last year.

The readership isn’t so zealous, even though we thought they would get more excited over the final novel,” said Shiro Nakamura, the store manager of the Yaesu bookstore near central Tokyo Station.
